Married to the Army
Married to the Army is my original website. It is my baby and I love all of the people it has allowed me to meet over the years. The site now enjoys well over a million hits a month and countless emails every day! I spend more than an hour a day just replying to emails now!
The site hosts over 500 pages of information all about the Army lifestyle from basic training to deployments to retirement. We cover it all.
As an Army family member and supporter, it is also possible (and encouraged) for you to share your experiences on the site as well through reviews and stories about your life as an Army spouse or family member.

Greetings!
Let me begin by saying THANK YOU for the support you give to military families!
I came across your site while searching for websites that offer support to military wives and I when I got to your site, I really liked what I saw! You cover many of different topics but have organized the site so it is still easy to use. My hat is off to you!
I am writing about a new website (www.militarywivesmatter.org) that is part of a nationwide study funded by the National Institute of Mental Health and centered at Oregon Health & Science University. The site has information on several topics that military wives have told us concern them the most. Our goal is to assist spouses as they cope with issues related to deployment and reintegration by providing information that is tailored to their needs. Now we are trying to get the word out to as many spouses as possible.
I am hoping that you can help us reach out to military wives by posting a copy of the announcement shown below on your site.
We really appreciate anything you can to help us spread the word! Thank you!
Announcement:
Has your husband deployed (or will he)?
We don’t have to tell you how hard it is. But if you would like to know more about what to expect and how to deal with it, there’s a new website that provides information about a variety of topics military wives have said worry them the most.
